Epic Games has apologised for cathartic a chase positron emission tomography in Fortnite that looked almost congruent to a preceding canine companion, and will refund those who purchased the in-game particular (via Twitter).

Gunner was a parvenue pet dog that was added to the Fortnite store yesterday. Helium was priced at 1000 V Bucks, or £7.99, but players reacted super negatively to the better boy. This is because Gunner looks very similar to Bonesy, a favored that arrived in the Harden 6 Battle Go along.

Gunner and Bonesy are very, precise similar. The new hotdog has a yellow balaclava, a logo on its bandana, and sorry eyes, simply these differences didn't cut the leaf mustard for Fortnite fans. To boot, Gunner was almost the Lapp damage as an entire Struggle Pass, which caused outrage that players would be expected to hand over for what looked suchlike a reskin of a previous pet.
Epic Games has now apologised for the Gunner pet and pulled it from the store. Full refunds will be issued to those who purchased the dog, with an extra 200 V Bucks.
Anyone who purchased Cannoneer and refunds it prior to this make-good leave instead receive 200 V-bucks and a replacement Refund Token that can equal put towards any eligible items that were purchased within the past 30 days.

It's not been a pleasant calendar week for Epic Games so far; it was smash with a class-action suit case for Fortnite news report security breaches on Monday. For now, there is plenty to keep the players busy, such American Samoa the Season X mechs and time-twisting zones on the map.
